Fair warning, this is not a spell that can be thrown together in a few hours. But it works really well.

Tarot Cards: Strength, Sun, King or Queen of Wands
Various things that have made you proud or happy. (In my case, I have awards, published books, symbols of my marriage, a list of my rescued animals and animals that I have helped find forever homes, paintings I am very proud of, and if I were to cast this spell today I’d also include side by side photos of me when I was a size 26 and now when I’m a size 12/14.) If you don’t have objects that remind you of these things, spend a few days making a list of everything that lifts your spirits and everything that you’ve accomplished that comes to mind, no matter how small. For that matter, even if you have some objects, making the list for things that aren’t included is wise.
Take a good hot bath. Get dressed up in your best clothes. Wear your best perfume. Do your hair and, if inclined, makeup. In other words, prepare to be your best.
Set up a working altar. Follow your instinct. I usually set the candle in the middle and array the tarot cards in a triangle around it, pointing at me.
Establish sacred space using your preferred method. If you feel it is necessary, ask your Gods to attend.
Light the incense and close your eyes. Take a moment to meditate. Focus on your breath.
Now. Hold the candle and see it imbued with the light of truth and strength. Replace it on the altar. Light the candle.
Take your time, go through all the things you’ve gathered. Talk about the list and the items you’ve gathered aloud. You’re having a conversation with yourself about the good you’ve done and what you’ve accomplished.
See the energy of those accomplishments entering the cards and the candle.
As the energy fills the tools before you, you should already be feeling better.
When you’ve finished going over your gathered goods and list, take time with each tarot card. Contemplate how you embody the energies of that card, and jot down your thoughts.
Take a moment to contemplate the candle. Meditate and focus on your breath.
Close your rite as your tradition dictates, and write down your thoughts and experiences.
Over the next while, anytime that you feel your confidence flag, take time to sit before the candle in meditation, or repeat the ritual. More importantly, take the reminder of all you’ve done in your life and use it as fuel to get out there and shine bright!
